This important sense of teamwork is something that sets a Hirschbach company driver a step above the rest. Hirschbach company drivers average 7 to 21 days out with 2 to 3 days off. Home time may vary slightly depending on where the driver lives.

One of the benefits of working for a mid-size, family-owned, family-operated, and family-friendly company is we look out for more than just your driving career. Our medical package, Starbridge Select, a defined benefits medical plan allows drivers to pick the coverage level they need for themselves, just one other family member, or the whole family. Coverage begins the first of the month following the date a driver is hired. Starbridge rates start at just $13 per week. After one year of employment, a driver is eligible to switch to our Blue Cross/Blue Shield policy.

Vacation pay and a company matching 401K retirement plan are offered after one year with our company. Vacation pay is $500 per week. Drivers get one week of vacation after one year, two weeks after three years, and three weeks after 10 years with us. Vacation pay is grandfathered from a driver's previous employer meaning you may get more vacation time quicker, depending on how long you worked for your last company.
